With last weeks snowstorm, I believe it is all too obvious that Winter is on its way. Expect snow, freezing temperatures and high heating costs. What you can avoid, however, is that Winter cough. Here are a few ways to beat your cold during the holiday season.

- Vitamin D in Natural Form (Sunlight). Take that Winter Vacation you have been dreaming about!
- Egg yolks
- Fatty Fish
- Salmon
- Mushrooms
- Garlic
- Green Tea
- Honey
- Get your Antioxidants! – Eat fruits, berries and vegetables
- Avoid ALL processed foods and sweetened soft drinks
- Get adequate rest
- Exercise!
